OpenSearch blog - Driving open governance: What the Technical Steering Committee accomplished this year
Well folx, I was elected to the OpenSearch Project Technical Steering Committee. Since we launched it, I have been facilitating the committee, but this last election I threw my name in the hat to come on as a full member. Thankful to say the community of maintainers on the project elected me. The reason I ran was this; right now, we need to continue our work on open governance, and maintainer diversity; these are two things I believe I have a unique position to make a positive impact on. Looks like the maintainers agree.
This post was written along with other members of the TSC to reflect on the past year, and to welcome new members (including me) to the committee.
